Before the Ceremony
Some couples choose to start photographing a wedding day from the beginning of their ceremony, while others choose from the beginning of the day, while preparing at home. I like to begin 2-3 hours before the ceremony. This is best time to capture beautiful details of your flowers, jewelry, a wedding dress, shoes, etc. Then I take pictures of the bride as she gets ready, then portraits of her, her closest friends and family. Taking these images before the ceremony saves time you spend for your groups photos. If the place where your groom gets ready is close by, I also take photos of his preparations .
From here, I move to the location of the ceremony and capture the arrival of the guests, the surroundings, and the groom as he waits for the arrival of the bride.
